Privacy Policy – Sooq Dadsters

We at Sooq Dadsters (“we,” “us”) respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your data. This policy briefly explains what we collect, why we use it, and how you can control it.
1) Sign-up & Verification
- Store owners: A valid phone number is required and verified via a one-time password (OTP) when registering a store.
- Regular users: Browsing is available without a phone number; when posting a listing, a phone number is required and verified by OTP.
- Phone numbers are used solely for verification and security. We do not require email for sign-up or posting.
2) Data We Collect
- Basic data: phone number (required) and name if provided.
- Content you publish: listings, photos, media.
- Location (optional): to show nearby stores/offers; you control this permission in device settings.
- Technical data (automatic): IP address, device/OS type and version, language, performance and crash logs—for security and service improvement.
- Device permissions (when needed): camera/gallery (photo upload), location, notifications—manageable in device settings.
3) How We Use Data
- To operate app features (selling/buying/browsing).
- To personalize your experience and show relevant content.
- For verification, security, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.
- For operational messages, support, and feedback.
4) Analytics & Tracking
- We may use non-advertising analytics to improve the service.
- We do not use third-party ad networks (AdMob removed).
5) Sharing Information
- We do not sell or trade your data.
- Published content is visible to the public within the app.
- We may share data with service providers (hosting, non-ad analytics, notifications, messaging) under data-protection contracts.
- We may share data as required by law, or in business transfers (merger/acquisition) under legal safeguards.
- Maps/Places (if used): location data may be processed by the map provider under its policy.
6) Retention & Deletion
- We keep data as needed to provide the service and comply with requirements.
- When you delete your account, we remove data from operational systems within a reasonable time. Limited backups may persist for compliance/disaster recovery and are then deleted per our retention policy.
7) Security
We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures, but no system is 100% secure. Your use is at your own risk within legal limits.
8) Minors
The service is not directed to users under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If discovered, we disable the account and delete the data.
9) Your Rights
- View/edit your data and delete it in-app.
- Delete account: Account → Settings → Delete account.
- You may object or withdraw consent where applicable by law.
10) Changes
We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date indicates the current version. We will notify you of material changes where appropriate.
